College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Degree Completion Programs

Bachelor of General Studies

Bachelor of General Studies requirements: Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree (preferred, but not necessary). No restrictions regarding professional experience. You could complete this interdisciplinary degree in two years.

Bachelor of Science in Public Service Leadership

Bachelor of Science in Public Service Leadership requirements: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in a related field, or an Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree (preferred, but not necessary). Two years of professional experience in a related field required. Earn up to 30 hours of proficiency credit based on your professional credentials.

Online Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science

Online Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science requirements: Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree (preferred, but not necessary) or students who have otherwise satisfied their NIU general education requirements and preferably their foreign language requirements.

University Center at Harper College Programs in Psychology and Computer Science

Programs in Psychology and Computer Science are available through the University Center at Harper College. Courses in these programs are online or in-person at Harper College. Requirements: Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree (preferred, but not necessary) and meeting program prerequisites.

University Center at McHenry County College Programs in Psychology and Computer Science

Programs in Psychology and Computer Science are available through the University Center at McHenry County College. Courses in these programs are online or in-person at the University Center of MCC in Woodstock. Requirements: Associate of Art (A.A.) or Associate of Science (A.S.) degree (preferred, but not necessary) and meeting program prerequisites.
