Undergraduate Program

Our program reflects the diversity of subject areas prominent in the sociology field, including social psychology, criminology, social inequality (race, class, gender), terrorism, social change, health and medical sociology, urban sociology, social theory and research methods. You may earn either a B.A. or B.S. degree in sociology, a minor in sociology or criminology certificate of study.

We offer a variety of opportunities to become even more engaged in the field and develop new skills, experiences and credentials of distinction either through our honors program or through various research opportunities.

Our graduates find employment in a wide range of careers from research, community development, criminal justice, health services, policy development, public relations and social services.
