Scholarly Interests
My research looks at the long-term process of rebuilding communities after the end of wars. I am particularly interested in the role non-governmental organizations (NGOs) play in peacebuilding. My broad interests within sociology include development, globalization, gender studies, human rights, social movements, organizations and civil society.
